Lumpy Breasts

I am 16 weeks and have had the normal achey, bigger heavier breasts. Feeling like my bra is a bit tight so always eager to change when I get home from work, need to make time for a fitting.

Tonight when I changed my left arm pit seems a bit puffy and lumpy. Though not a hard definite lump IYKWIM. It is the site where I had an infected cyst/abcess when trying to establish bf with my dd years ago. It is likely to be just my hormones causing the breast tissue to develop isn't it? Why do these things always happen at the weekend?

Can you give your midwife a call?

I am 11 weeks, and have just been to breast clinic to investigate lumpy breasts, so I know how worrying it is.

Mine was due to milk production, and nothing to worry about. Apparently it is quite common, so I am sure it will be fine.

I hope this helps, because I know I couldn't find anything reassuring online when I was stressing about my lady lumps. I hope you find out it is something 'normal' too.

Can't contact her unless Monday to Friday. Don't think its really something for the EPAS emergency number.
