Talk about baby brain!

Yesterday thought I lost the keys to the car and was looking everywhere as I had just opened the door.

Looked on the seats on floor then starting getting everything out the boot 15 min later found them in the car door lol

What was really embarrasing was that a guy unloading a van outside mamas and papas had stopped what he was doing and stood looking at me as I was pulling everything out the boot and looking on back seat lol.

I lost our food shopping when I was pregnant with DS. Still no idea to this day where I left it or what happened to it.

Haven't been too bad with this one yet although I did forget how old DS is.

I poured my breakfast cereal into my (empty) tea mug yesterday morning....

my best one is getting half way through a sentence and forgetting the end or losing words from my vocabulary.

I made myself a cup of tea the other morning, and was on my way upstairs before realising I'd put my freshly made tea into the fridge and was carrying the milk.

I also instantly forget how many weeks pregnant I am if someone asks unexpectedly, even if I had just been talking about it. I go 'erm.... erm.... 26, no, 27, 27 weeks!' and then they look at me like I'm mental.

Haha cass!
I had a few weeks where I had the opposite! Every morning I would routinely try to put nescafe into my cereal:)

I made some biscuits last week and DH came home to find me crying over them because they'd come out of the oven a burnt, sticky mess. Couldn't work out why they'd gone so wrong and then he asked me if I'd put any flour in...whoops

Keep forgetting words and have to describe the object which my class find hilarious. It is not just one word though it builds up. I asked one to pick up 'the thing like a headchog on a stick that you put in the stuff on your head' (I wanted her to pick up her hairbrush)
I keep loosing keyes to find them in my car door where I left them when I got out in the morning.
Have gone to shop for bread and came home with milk, no keyes, no purse. I hope it doesn't get worse!

ah candr you win, if that was a slightly shorter description i would use that to describe my hairbrush from now on!

I forgot how to spell DD2's name. At my booking in appointment. In my defence, it is a long name and I forgot where I was up to.

I am constantly spooner-ising.

Left the house keys in the front door today, nice man going past passed them in to me as was nursing DD2.

Since being on maternity leave don't have anything to do! So tend to go to sainsburys for that days dinner nearly every day. Three times i've now had to ring OH to ask what my pin number is, despite having the same one for three years...

Have on several occassions, last pregnancy and this one, gone to shops for 1 or 2 things and came back with lots of bags only to discover that I never got what I went for.

Yesterday I drove myself mad trying to find the tv remote. I remembered that it had been on the couch next to my diary and that I had put my diary in my bag but couldnt find the remote. Turns out that my diary was still on the couch and the remote was in my bag. That would have been akward at work if I hadnt noticed.

Vocad is terrible as well

Not while pg, but about 6 weeks after having dd2 I completely forgot her name!

We were at a family christening and I just stood there looking like a complete idiot!

Thankfully the person asking was an old friend so we had a laugh about it, but how embarrasing!

On the phone to my cousin while trying to leave the house, I managed to find my keys but it took me nearly 10 minutes to find my phone..... I was huffing and puffing and it wasn't until my cousin said 'what is it you're looking for?' that the penny dropped and I had to admit I had been looking for the phone that was actually clapped to my ear and i was talking to her on! Blush

When pregnant with dd2, I popped into the local tesco metro on the way in to work pick up some apples. At lunch time when I went into my bag to retrieve said apples, I pulled out a bag of onions. I still can't figure out how the hell that happened, especially since they were loose onions which meant I actually stood there and picked them out individually. Confused

Also, i lost count of the number of times the postman had to knock on the door to tell me I'd left the keys in the front door, all night!
