I've no experience myself but there are lots of lovely ladies on here in similar positions who I'm sure will be along shortly with some advice and support. I just wanted to offer you a Brew and say I hope this bean sticks and wish you luck x

Congratulations Mrs Steph!!! There are lots of positive stories on here! There's also a thread of newly pg post-MC ladies on the conception board (called the "Freak out room"!) and a thread of freak out "graduates" (i.e. preg after MC but generally a bit further along) on the pregnancy board (called "Totally's grads"). You'd be very welcome to come and join either or both and you'd find lots of like-minded souls.

Got preg last June, but MCd at 8 wks.
Got preg again in Oct, but MCd after 4 days of finding out.
Got preg again in Dec....and here I am....31 wks and on the final countdown!!

I wish you the best of luck, keep positive and appreciate every day!

Congratulations MrsSteph, so sorry to hear of your losses too. As Wombat said, the thread for pg post-MC are full of people with all sorts of histories and experience. I would highly recommend joining in one of them. I'm on one for the Just MC and ready to TTC again - that, and the MC threads, were my lifeline over the past couple of months.

Wishing you a smooth, uneventful 8 months! x

Congratulations on your preg!
No experience of MC myself, but wanted to share a positive story: a very close friend of mine had 2 MC in quick succession, and is now proud mummy of a gorgeous 5month old baby girl.

Her early preg unit were absolutely brilliant & scanned her several times before the 'official' 12wk dating scan, so do see if you can get some earlier scans for reassurance. xx

Good luck MrsS, I had exactly the same experience. Mc in Oct '08, and again in Jan '09. Got pg in April '09 and the result of that pregnancy is now pulling my living room apart! Keep faith x

I had a Mc on feburary at 6 weeks, and here I am nearly 10 weeks on and moaning about my hyperemersis! I still worry and I'm a 'boob poker',....just to make sure they still hurt and a knicker checker! I had spotting at 7 weeks, but was scanned and there was baby with a nice strong heart beat! Its difficult not to worry, even with my 24 hour un relenting sickness that has had me hospitalised, hasnt reassured me totally.......I'm currently counting down the 2 weeks 5 days till my 12 week scan!

Good luck, try to relax and let us know how you get on.....you should be offered an 8 week scan at the EPAC unit xx :)

Thanks everyone! I need to keep reminding myself that the odds are higher for it being suscessfull than not, I am thinking the other way around!! Having a scan at 8.5 wks (told the EPU before my husband lol) which is 2 weeks on Wednesday. Trying to take it 1 day at a time but for today I am still pregnant!!xx

Our history is practically identical!!! I had a mmc in Jan, af then a bfp, mc'd naturally and the a bfp 4 weeks later.....

I had scans at 6 & 8 weeks at the epu, then my normal 12 week scan and all is well. Oh and I heard the heartbeat last week!!! So I've just ordered a doppler off ebay.

It has been really hard, much mentalling!! There's a freak out thread on Conception for ladies preg after mc and they've been a tower of strength.......
