Hi

I'm 36 weeks + 5 days, I'm on my maternity leave now and i'm getting so bored! I can't really do much as i'm knackered and even changing postion on the settee feels like a big effort but i'm going to lose the will to live if i dont find something to keep me occupied for the next few weeks. Any idea's?

if you can bear it i would go to the cinema alone in the afternoon and eat lots of lovely stuff. or go for a swim/float... it's lovely to feel weightless and I know if feels like a mammoth effort to drag yourself out but it would be worth it. if not, how about getting comfy and watching a dvd boxset? or got any good books? or go for a pregnancy massage/reflexology session?
good luck with the rest of your pregnancy

I have bought desperate housewives boxsets, but there's only so much tv i can watch. I think i might go for a swim though :) a very gentle, non strenuous swim though. I wish i knew how to knit, i think that'd be a good way to keep occupied and i feel like a want to do something productive

Fill the freezer with cooked meals - Bolognese sauce, Chilli, casseroles, curries etc.
Bake cakes
I took up playing on DP's Wii - almost finished Resident Evil!

maybe look up how to knit on youtube or something? It's not that complicated (and I'm left handed and had to learn 'backwards' !)
You can buy basics like needles and wool in places like Wilkinsons :)
Or do a photobook of a recent event/pregnancy? I'm saving my wedding photo sort out for when I'm on mat leave....altho will prob be doing thesis corrections :(
