Choline?

I'm 19+3 at the moment, and as I'm vegan I'm being careful about making sure I'm doing things right nutritionally - protein, iron, calcium, B12 all pretty much OK, it seems. But then I read somewhere that I could be at risk of choline deficiency, and the prenatal supplements I take only contain 50mg of this (against the 500mg I've read is needed daily).

Can anyone tell me anything about this? And does anyone know if it's OK to take a choline supplement during pregnancy (on top of the multivitamin and mineral, iron and flax oil ones I'm taking every day... I rattle on my way to work)?

Choline is safe during pregnancy. But you could take in it food form by increasing consumption of soy, or by taking lecithin granules.
Just make sure you are taking at least 2000IU of vitamin D3 too.

Ta - will have a look for the granules :) No D3 in my diet, though, as I don't think there's a vegan source - what does that do?
