HELP! MAT B forms - Help! Can you get one after birth?

Being a bit rubbish, I kept forgetting to get mine and was going to collect one at my 38 week midwife appoint on Tuesday just gone, but my baby came 15 days early and arrived the day before instead (yipee!).

I am self-employed and am now frantically trying to sort out my maternity allowance application. I need to send my Mat B form off with the paperwork.

Am I allowed to get one after birth or do they only issue them in pregnancy.

Midwifes etc all being utterly useless and referring me this way and that way?

Yeah, on the MAT B form there is a part for 'date baby was born' or something like that. Speak to your midwife and get one asap :) failing that your GP should be able to give you one

Just ring your GP and they'll do you one.

i was just doing my MA form last week

there was an option for what to do / tick if your baby has already been born.

Cant remember what it was, but it was there and didnt look complicated, so you will still be able to get MA Smile
