Silly question- when should I wash the sheets etc?

I feel a right idiot asking this!
This isnt even my first but I can't remember when should I wash the sheets and clothes etc?
I'm 30 weeks.
Please don't laugh at me, I think I'm fretting about the nice small things rather than even contemplating the chaos that is likely to ensue in 10 weeks or less Grin

I'm thinking bouncer chair and Moses basket cover etc now then clothes and what not in few weeks time?
Just worry if this one is early, I want everything to be organised as I won't be!

I think this is a sign you are getting the urge to nest - so I would go with it right now!

But don't panic - if your poppet makes an appearance tomorrow even (lets hope not though!), s/he will be fine in a sleepsuit straight out of the packet for a few days while you get others to do the washing for you. Don't worry.

Best of luck. I'm only 17 weeks so I've not really yet hit the stage where I fully grasp that I am having a real life second child. All DDs baby clothes are still mouldering in the roof ...

haha, I'm only 21w and already wanting to wash the clothes etc! Trying to resist or I'll end up doing it twice! I made dh get dd1's clothes down from the spare room and now all the newborn and 0-3month clothes are in the nursery room drawers, just need washing. We're waiting until 24w to order cotbed and pushchair (expecting twins so dd's stuff won't be enough). I think buying things will make it more real.

Thanks for not laughing at me :)

Ah yes nesting! That makes sense.

Bumpsadaisie- I like you hadn't hit the I'm having another real life baby stage until I got to 30 weeks. I see having 10 weeks to go as somewhere in the distance! We have so, so much going on in the next 9 weeks anyhow I kind of forgot I am due to give birth and the baby will need stuff soon.
So now I am all systems go!
I like the idea of other people doing my washing though!

Princess- That's why I'm confused, I don't want to wash stuff too early but then I dont want to be mid contraction pouring fairy into the washing machine.

Right I am about to:
Wash moses basket stuff
Wash bouncer cover
Wash labour bag

I've cleaned the main bathroom avoiding writing the food shop list so I feel I have already been productive today.

Congratulations on your pregnancies ladies!
