Just a bit of fun really. Did you think or know it was one sex then it popped out and was the opposite?

I feel mine is a girl but try to tell myself its a boy so im not shocked lol

Nope. Thought both DDs were boys! Even after they were born asked midwife to double check.....

I had no idea with number 1 till scan. Number 2 I had a feeling due to the food I wanted etc and it was confirmed at scan. This time I had a feeling due to the food again, but scan said the opposite.
Moral of this story I think I guessed right with DS, but the others I didn't.
50/50 there wasn't the logic I thought in my decisions.

Yes, right three times out of three. I even dreamt around the night I must have got pregnant with DS1 (we were not trying) that I was pregnant with a dark haired brown eyed boy...

My 2 neighbours both wanted boys and got girls just a few weeks ago, we kinda wanted a girl so knew lookin at the odds it would be a boy - it is they said at 12 week, will confirm at next scan. - am very happy though!

I "found out" the gender at the scan (f), but spent so long telling everyone that it wasn't 100% accurate that I somehow convinced myself it was a boy... I was actually surprised when a girl popped (ok, was dragged kicking and screaming) out! [idiot face]

Gawd, its just so wierd as just feel its a girl and almost attached to that image so getting a bit anxious now. Why didnt i have a scan to see ;)
Mind you I know at the time i wont be bothered but i feel in this late stage as if i relate to my bump as a girl and so trying not to!

Still waiting to see if I'm right (convinced it's a girl) but OH's best friend and his wife were convinced both theirs were girls from day one, you guessed it, they've got two lovely bouncing boys.

No. Convinced I was having a girl.

Spent ages debating and deciding on girl's names. Five minutes on boy's. Then I had a boy and no names that I liked. Husband was baffled. He had believed that I "knew".

I'm always wrong when I try to guess what other women are having, but I was convinced from the day I got a positive pregnancy test I was having a boy - I didn't find out at the 20 week scan but was certain all the way through. I was right. I had my boy name picked out and hadn't really thought of a girl's name. Just wish I'd have the guts to buy boy clothes - I held back because I thought it was stupid given that I only had a hunch I needed to get blue rather than proper proof, but if I could have staggered the clothes buying a bit I'd have saved myself some cash!

Have to be honest, have 3dds and I "felt" they were girls each time, honestly have no idea why. Never able to tell at scans but I just knew, didn't buy anything gender related just in case.

I feel the same. Seems weird when people say I might be having a boy. Neither me or DP mind what we have but it just feels like a girl.. I even bought girl's clothes today (only £3 in sale though). Reckon I can give them away if I am wrong.

Oh well..., as someone who couldn't resist a bit of 'nub theory' speculation, I decided I was/am having a boy. And I am.

I have had a strong feeling my LO is a boy ever since I found out I was pregnant. I was the only one who felt like this; everyone else (including DH, parents, sisters etc) have thought girl since day dot. Whatever I did, I could not imagine this bubby to be a little girl. Proof was in the pudding at the 18 week scan when the sonographer took a look at the legs and both DH and I shot looks at one another as there was an unmistakable penis there! The sonographer then asked us if we wanted to know, we said yes and he said YES, definitely a boy! I know the scan isn't guaranteed, but I feel pretty confident. Bring on August!

Peppapig.. I had a dream two nights ago that I gave birth to a girl (who grew to 9yrs old within 24hrsHmm), she had ginger, short-cut hair was athletically thin and nearly the same height as me by the end (not hard as I'm 5ft, I know a few 9-11yr olds my height!). It was so vivid I told my mum about it on the phone yesterday

I wonder...

From about 12 weeks I had a wierd feeling it was a girl... but everyone kept telling me that due to my cravings/how I am carrying/the 12 week scan picture/etc it was definitely a boy.

Had my 20 week scan last week and it is a girl. Don't know if I am most pleased that I'm going to have a daughter, or just like proving people wrong. Wink
