how many weeks are you? i have been having sharp pains in pelvis since about 34 weeks. my consultant said that my bones were expanding in preparation for the birth... i used to have a rasor like pain near my belly button at around 19-26 weeks on and off, and was told that the uterus was stretching... if you already went to the hospital, then don't worry about it. maybe a warm bath or a swim in the pool would help?

I had what are called round ligament pains at around 24 weeks and they were like stabbing or burning pains under the bump. Hurt when I moved or stayed in the same position for too long.
