I had this and the only thing that helped me was rich tea biscuits. I carried a pack with me all the time and nibbled one everytime I felt sick. Also drink as much water as you can stomach. Hope you feel better soon.

Must be really horrid that even cyclazine doesn't work. I presume you got this from the docs? Is there anything else they have offered?

I was sick for ages and only rich tea I could keep down so fingers and everything else crossed you feel better soon x

I have been on cyclizine for the past 10 weeks.... and still been very sick, but thankfully have not had to be readmitted to hospital.

I have also had accupuncture and for the past 5 / 6 weeks my accupuncturist has been giving me needle plasters in my wrists after my accupuncture session.
Whilst they have not stopped the sickness completley, i feel they have made a difference and am much less sick when i have them in. I only had them when i saw a different person to my normal accupunctrist... (they work together in a clinic) the other one put them on me. My normal one hadnt realised these needle plasters could be used, but the one who put them on was talking about me and my extreme sickness /hyperemisis with a different collegue who suggested it to her.
Well it had definitely helped me, but may be worth asking accupuncturist directly to apply them at the end of the session, they didnt seem to just know!

I'm also suffering the same at the min and HATE it.
Can find nothing to get rid of the horrible feeling and seem to have tried everything. Not tried acupucture though!
Ginger beer worked briefly but now makes me worse!

I've got to agree with nannyl, acupuncture worked for me too. Was feeling very sick for 9 weeks straight, hardly eating and nothing seemed to work until I tried acupuncture. For the last two weeks I've been feeling a lot better. Still am feeling and being sick occasionally but nothing compared with before.

My acupuncturist has also shown me the points in the wrist and you can apply acupressure yourself or buy these travel sickness bracelets that have the same effect.

Hope you feel better soon.

Get your accupuncture to show you where the same points are on your leg as well Smile

needles in wrists 24/7 and pressure with fingers on legs can help too Smile
