When did you feel baby move?

I'm 13wks +5 with id twins (second pg - I have a dd). I've already had flutters and last night I laid down and dh could see movements (very slight but definitely there. This seems really early so I haven't told anyone as I really don't think they'll believe me - but honestly, I'm not going crazy. I presume it's because I'm expecting twins.

I felt dd1 move at about 16 weeks.

When did you feel yours move?

Not unbelievable at all. Each baby is what 8/9cms long? That's quite a lot of baby and your uterus is definitely out of your pelvis so it makes sense that you can probably feel and see movement. And especially with it being your 2nd pregnancy. Plenty of people can feel movement around 13/14 weeks with their second.

Congratulations. Smile

Aw Scrumpy I am jealous! Of twins and movements! I am 13w and keep thinking I can feel the baby with my hand but it's just the pulse in my hand. Can't wait to feel baby moving!

My OH is 16 weeks, started feeling them last week, only maybe 1/2 times a day. but this week has been crazy, she says she can feel the baby move loads. But what's really funny is, she said it feels like someone tickling her from the inside, so she has random bouts of laughter, its alright when we're indoors but she looks a complete loon out on the street.

Hi, based on my experience I think you're feeling movement. I'm 21 weeks (already have 3 yr old DD) and I've been able to feel think baby moving since just over 11 weeks. Tis a much more wriggly baby than DD was, the sonographer was struggling to get all the measurements as my 20 wk scan cos the baby was moving so much.

Congratulations on your twins! V exciting

felt something funny when I was in john lewis today, but the very slight movements I 've been feeling are only occasional. I am 13 weeks and getting excited that I will hopefully feel a bit more soon! Movements do feel different this time, I also remember the tickling sensation when I felt my first baby move.

I've had a couple of times of feeling them just as I've laid down and turned lights off - but seeing my tummy move a bit was a real treat for dh - he's so excited. I had to hold my breath to stay as still as possible.

maybe i'm just not paying attention or it is because I am always fully clothed?

I think I felt it sooner as I knew what the feeling was like so recognised it sooner. It's the best feeling and had me in stitches seeing dh's face as dd1 punched and rolled around as he couldn't understand how it didn't hurt! Enjoy them when you feel them. x

people often say the first movements are gentle flutters. i can tell you this is absolute rubbish in the case of my DS (am 30+5 weeks with him ATM.)

I first felt him move at 16weeks and it was a proper little kick! since then he's been kicking and punching with such force im surprised he hasn't managed to kick his way out through my bellybutton. my friend is on her 5th child and even she was amazed at how much punch he has :)

I didn't feel DC1 move until 20+ weeks I think. I don't really remember! But it wasn't a flutter, it was a jab.
