Afternoon ladies,
I know there are lots of threads already about how ways to deal with the nausea, but I'm wondering if people have any tips on ho how to hide it too?
When I was pg with DS we were pretty indiscrete and so I didn't really have to hide how crappy I was feeling. This time we've decided not to tell anyone for a good while, but I'm struggling already at 5+2! I was out with my mum today (can't tell her till the first scan, she'll not cope well if I have a mc so I wouldn't tell her) and I was trying to breathe slowly through my mouth whenever we walked past a coffee shop/ cafe. Her newly decorated house is making me retch too.
On my days off work I tend to go for coffee pretty regularly with my mummy friends. I'm now at the point where the smell of it makes me heave, and even tea is becoming a struggle. How do I hide that?!
I'm also struggling because the things that helped me through last time (crackers, cheese bicuits etc) I haven't been able to touch since my last pg as I ate so much of them, and I just associate them with feeling sick. Really not sure what else to have i their place.
I am going to try the accupressure bands. But again, people are going to notice them. My mum bought some recently to help with travel sickness so if she sees me wearing them she'll clock straightaway....
I'm not sure how I can hide this for another seven weeks, as Im know from experience it's going to get alot worse before it gets better, arrrghh!
