Lol i know its late but my daft hospital would not tell me, and i better not pop before i have a c section booked for 39 weeks.

One of the main reasons was we have 2 boys, so just have boys stuff we didnt really want to spend out even more money if we could help it Grin

So it is for a good reason

Depends how your baby is lying in your womb there is a very high chance that you will see nothing as there is very little space for bubba to move around and spread his/her legs. I think you may well save the money for a private scan and then order online once you're in hospital and need girly clothes Smile

Good idea there Snowcake. We just got some absolute bargains on ebay if you don't mind second hand clothes

We've managed to pick up bundles of top branded clothes for 99p. DH did go a little mad with his ebaying and bought far too much but we've easily got about £500's worth of clothes and whatnot costing us about £80 plus the postage and there has been noting wrong with any of our purchases and would highly recommend it to those who like us aren't the most financially sound family in the world

So what's wrong with putting boys' clothes on a girl...? She won't be able to tell and they grow out of them so fast anyway.

Just a thought.
