I´m pregnant for baby #3 and having extremely greasy hair. I´m about 6 weeks now I believe (will know the real weeks 9th of Feb) and every morning I wake up my hair looks like I didn´t wash them for days! ;( (I do wash them daily!) Advices ARE welcome, can´t be having this hair for 9 months Hmm

Ive had this from early on...some days worse than others..skin shot some days too!

I'm now 15 weeks 4 days and hair has got better but am in no way glowing yet!!

I changed to a really plain shampoo/conditioner when waqs bad and that helped a lot - my scalp was horrid and I never suffer with that so a change was a big help. Some days I just had to wash my hair more than once :(

I have changed back to my normal shampoo now which is fine again. Hair improved about week 11

I found I had to treat my hair, scalp and skin like you would during puberty! The irony is...I was never this bad during puberty!

(Due 16th July, 29 in the UK)

yoshimigalloway.. I read from somewhere you should not use a conditioner at all if possible and use clarifying shampoos but that´s all. Really really wishing to hear more. It´s good to know I´m not alone ;)

hi johsibo im 8weeks wth #3 and have exactly the same.
have started using pantene aqua light shampoo and conditioner, not sure i would say my hair's nice (though it is full of colourant and straightened everyday), but its MUCH better than it was using my usual s and c. may b worth a try?

JimmyChoo17 it´s good to know that it can get better! (will keep waiting!) Don´t remember having this problem before.. well then again, no pregnancy is the same.
JimmyChoo17 and yoshimigalloway Congratulations to both of you!

I know the feeling - mine is awful and the was actually what made me get a test in the first place - i have never had any issues with greasy skin or hair - in fact my skin is dry more than anything but i have been plagued by grease!!

i find the worst bit was itchy scalp and im still get spots on my scalp too. i am using head and shoulders for itchy scalp and it is a lot better, im now 16 weeks and it is improving, but am still waiting for the 'glow' as well!!

I'm using T-Gel for greasy hair, which has made a huge difference. It's quite expensive but you only need a little bit, I do a first shampoo with that and then a second one with normal clarifying stuff.

My hair is long so I condition the ends but don't put it near my scalp.

I'd love to tell you it gets better but I'm 30 weeks now and it hasn't so far.
