I found out yesterday that I am pregnant with DC2. I am really pleased as we only started trying on Christmas Eve so I am only about four weeks pregnant.

I have told my best friend but I think DP and I will wait to tell family and friends until after the scan. Anyone else due in September and fancy a chat?

There's an antenatal thread for ladies due in September if you want others in the same boat.

Congratulations.

Hi,

I'm due in Sept. We've told parents as they live so far away they won't be in our faces. Made the huge mistake of telling dd1 who is very excited and told the cm straight away. Cm was lovely and knows nobody else knows. My biggest fear is someone writing about it on facebook before I've told work as I've got colleagues on there.

How are you feeling so far? I had Flu last week so I'm quite shattered but don't think it's pg related.

Really want to race through this bit so I can tell everyone - I was far more patient with dd1, but I worked in an office where nobody had babies. Now I'm in a school where 3 others are pg and I want to join the club but have to bite my lip!

Hi Princess, congratulations!

I have been feeling exhausted and DP suspected I was pregnant before we found out for sure but I don't feel as tired as last time although I am mnetting instead of washing up as DP is out and I can't be bothered to do it so I'm blaming the pregnancy for making me lazy Grin

My boobs are also sore and my tummy feels like I have done a lot of crunches - I haven't!! - so I can definitely feel something happening.

How old is your DD? I bet she was excited, my DD loves babies.

I hope you feel better soon and it will be nice to share your pregnancy with others at work. I had my appraisal at work today and my boss said how pleased he was that I was back and that the department wasn't the same when I was on ML so I felt a bit guilty knowing I would be off on ML again before he knew it!!

It is so hard keeping quiet isn't it?

Hi NannyL - sorry to hear you have got morning sickness. Hopefully it won't last too long. When did it start? Do you have any other DCs?

hello

no other children...

morning sickness began for me at about 5+4, so not very long but feels like forever already!

Oooh, a first baby! It felt much more exciting the first time around and much scarier too Grin.

Are you waiting until after the scan before you tell work?

Hello
I have just found out I am pregnant with number 3, number 2 only being 15 weeks old.
Think I am due on the 24th of September but not sure yet.

reddaisy · 19/01/2011 21:48

Hi Nunnie! Congratulations. Gosh, number 3 already. I am one of three and I love it and I want three ideally, although DP wants two so we will see.

I think I am due around then. How are you feeling? I am feeling very lazy tonight, I'm not sure if it is because I'm pregnant or not.

Who have you told so far?

Hello reddaisy, Congratulations. I have told hubby (he works away)don't want to tell anyone else really as DS was born by emergency section and I'm not sure what if anything being pregnant so soon after could do.

I am lazy all the time Grin, I am not relying on tiredness as a symptom this time round as DS is still having night feeds.

But when I was pregnant with DS I was really tired in the early stages much tireder than I remember being with DD.
I have no symptoms whatsoever apart from no af.

Congratulations everyone.

DD is 3 next month - apparently, when our baby "pops" out it will play hungry hippos with her.... hmmmmmm.

I have a bump already - I thought I was imagining it but DH confirmed it by saying "Are you sure you're only 5 weeks?" I am sure so now I'm teasing him it's twins! I'm a shapely 12 but tummy is now swollen and quite solid. Bit early, surely?! At this rate I won't be able to hide it until 12 weeks.

I'm going to my gp on Monday.

I'm already using the baby card... baby wanted Chinese last week - baby got it! Grin

Hello & congratz,

There is already a Sep baby bus here.

Seems silly to start a new one, plus there maybe some interesting posts you may like to read.

There's so many comments on the September bus it's hard to have a chat really imo - but that might be my pregnancy brain. I'm happy to chat to a few people here - if the others are happy to stay.

Congratulations briefcasewanker - great name btw! I hope you are back home in time for your DD's birthday! And congrats to you too Princess.

I am planning to stay on this thread too, for the same reason that the other one is very busy and I think we have all only just found out which means we are at a similar stage.

We have told my mum and her partner, my sister and my DSDs tonight and everyone was so excited. Although my sister is planning her wedding so I think she was a bit put out that the talk turned to babies for a while - oh well Wink

And Princess, I like the hungry hippos idea - you had better start talking your bump through the rules now!

I have also thrown caution to the wind with food and I raided the vending machine at work today because I had no willpower for the day, I had better get more organised and have some healthy snacks prepared in future.

Thanks reddaisy.

I have told my Mum, my younger sister, my in-laws, my Nan and my best friend.

I was huuuge when pregnant with DD, basically sat on my arse for the last 2 months and ate rubbish. Not this time!

I've started subliminal messages to baby by saying "sleep is good" dd1 did't sleep for 4 months and 3 hours at a time was a miracle for her! she had reflux and colic, bless her.

I already have a mini bump and tummy is solid! DH is adamant it's twins - I think I might be eating too much.

Hi everyone,
Dh and I have spent the last week grinning from ear to ear as expecting baby number three in September. Due around the 21st!!! We have been trying for almost a year and were getting rather frustrated so very good news! We have told our children, parents and siblings and all are over the moon. Im so tired all the time and certain smells send me running for the sick bag but couldn't be happier!

Im down in Devon, where is everyone else? x

PrincessScrumpy · 21/01/2011 19:22

Congrats Chelstonmum.

I'm due 20th Sept and we're in South Somerset. DH works in Devon and parents live there too.

How many other dcs do you have?

No sickness yet but I've got time. I'm getting tired around 5pm each day but dd1 has had a few bad nights and having flu a week ago could be to blame. Feeling good but bloated so far.

Evening everyone, congratulations Chelstonmum! Baby number three, that's brilliant. I am so tired too so I slept when DD had her nap today. I haven't had any sickness yet thank goodness.

I definitely feel hungrier and I have no willpower now, DP has just gone out to get us a Chinese takeaway, oh well.

We have told DP's family today and my auntie so loads of people know now which makes me a bit nervous as it is such early days but it is hard to keep it a secret.

I am in Cambridgeshire so miles away from you and PrincessScrumpy.

Hi lollyheart, congratulations and I am impressed that you can wait until after the scan. I wanted to wait but DP got a bit carried away and once you start telling people you have to fill in both sides of the family.

No wonder you are tired with three children already, do they amuse each other well? I could curl up and sleep all weekend but DD won't let me!
