Am posting this for a friend.

She had a Transverse Myelitis (sp) episode in 2007 and following steriod treatment she was back to full health by 2009. She is now 14 weeks preg with DC 1 and is starting to feel similar symptoms to before. She was aware that she may suffer a relapse in pregnancy. Is anyone out there who has similar or MS ( a relative condition) that might be able to talk about onset of symptoms in pregnancy?

TIA Smile

Hi Riven. I had seen from old posts that you have MS and was hoping you might pop up! You have an awful lot on your plate.. amazing how you can know so much about someone but never have met them. The wonder of mn!

A close friend and colleague has TM which is a relative of MS albeit on a milder scale. I guess my hope was to find others that might have experience of MS / TM as she is preg with dc 1 and starting to suffer TM symptoms having been fine for last couple of years. She has only had the one episode so understandably the onset of tingling and numbness is worrying for her. She is seeing specialists in the next couple of weeks but would benefit I think from contact with others with experience. I understand its a pretty rare condition so if there were folk around to chat I was going to suggest she get herself logged in. Thats it really...
