Hot hot hot!

I am 38+5 pregnant and i seem to be warm all the time. Especially at night. I am sleeping with just a sheet on and still wake up clammy and hot, so not getting much sleep as waking up every half an hour so hot.
Is anyone else having this problem? Should i speak to my midwife about it? Any advice would be appreciated.

I am 38+2 and I am exactly the same! In the evening DH sits with a heavy jumper and a blanket over him while I sit in my pants and no top! I constantly ask throughout the evening if it's ok if I turn off the heating but the poor bugger is frozen so most of the time I have to leave it on and just sweat like a big pig! We turn off the heating at night and I spend most of the night with no duvet covering me.

I think it's pretty normal TBH. Do you have a thermometer? If you do you can check your temp and if it's normal there's nothing to worry about. If you don't have one it's worth buying one anyway as you'll need it for baby. Obviously if you do have a high temp then it's important to get to the doctor as you might have urinary tract infection or something. I'm just thankful I'm not pregnant during a hot summer. How women survive that is beyond me!

Thanks Writerofdreams, was starting to think its just me!
I do have a thermometer, dont have a high temp but yet still really warm. My Dp and Ds are wearing extra clothes as i cant stand the heat on for more than an hour in the evening.
I was thinking last night its a good job its not summer as i really could not take the heat.

I am getting this too - even when it snowed I would have happily had window open at night but dh said no!

Yep. Me too. Usually I am a very "cold" person. At least I'm saving on the heating bills this year. Definitely couldn't do this heavy pregnancy lark in the height of summer.

Yep - me too. baby is like my personal central heater. V normal for body temp to rise in preg.
