I will be 16 weeks on Monday and sick feeling sick most days and being sick once or twice a week. Still feeling completely knackered too!

Am hoping someone will say this happened to them and then stopped within a few weeks or am I going to feel sick all the way through?
Had hardly any morning sickness with my first but what I did have stopped completely at about 14 weeks.

I remember that feeling well, its awful isn't it?
There is no way of knowing when it will stop tbh, I had it all the way through with both mine took tablets for it which really helped.
My best friend had awful sickness and then it went totally at about 20 weeks just after she had resigned herself to having it the whole time like I did, then I know more who mostly were over it at about 12-14 weeks. I think its luck of the draw!

Hope it gets better, and if it doesn't speak to your MW or GP. If it is debilitating like it was for me, don't get fobbed off with 'well, a bit of sickness is normal...' there are things you can have.

I had this, it started to tail off about sixteen weeks very gradually and stopped at about twenty.

I too took tablets ,and they did help quite a bit. Hope yours goes soon Smile

I'm 16 weeks and still feeling nauseas all day with occasional sickness if I can'r control it. Just holding out and hoping that it ends around 20 weeks like it did with DS

Yes, I was still sick at 16 weeks - started going off at 18 then gone by 20.

Thanks everyone- it's really helped to hear that for some people it stops at 20 weeks.

lunafire hope you are feeling better soon too- it's rubbish isn't it? Especially when you read that morning sickness start to get better at 12 weeks Hmm

Am still managing to eat, although have to skip breakfast sometimes. Worst thing is that brushing my teeth makes me gag and I'm often sick afterwards- just have to rinse with mouthwash then cause I can't re-brush. Ick.

AmyFarrahFowler am due to see MW on Weds so will mention it then but don't think I'd be able to get tablets as am only actually vomiting every few days- just feel sick the rest of the time. It must've been pretty grim for you being sick all the way through
