Was in tesco this morning and felt a warm trickle down below, couldn't see anything so swiftly paid and waddled home in snow! On getting home, knickers were soaked but that was it. Am 36 + 4 with DC2. DS1 born at 33 + 6, had leaking hind waters then a huge gush so knew they had def broken with him!! Rang delivery suite, they said just wait to see what happens, no contractions yet, just back ache. Sorry if TMI but just want to know if anyone else has had a similar experience..............

I lost waters in small amounts with both pg. WIth dd2 it was literally a teaspoon at a time and when I went to the bathroom I could hold it so thought it was wee... It wasn't and dd2 was born after a very short labour. Good luck and backache hmmmmm sounds as if things could be moving.

Does it smell of wee?

Have the hospital told you when to come in if contractions don't start? At my hospital they like to check you out if you think your waters may have gone as if you're right they then give you 24 hours for labour to start before inducing to avoid infection risks.

I did sniff and it didnt smell of anything, have got to call in morning if nothing overnight, its the infection bit I'm worried about. Going to go and pick DS1 up from school in a minute, that may start them off, back ache is bad, but I have just had a quick blitz of the house, so don't think that helped!!
