Hello :)

Just looking for some opinions on whether this may be systems go.

I started with period like pains in my lower tummy/pelvis and spreading round my back at midnight, every 20 mins from 3am, went down to every 7 mins from about 1pm til 4ish, and been back up at around every 10 mins since.

They are increasingly painful, a bath helped ease it, but didn't stop them. No plug or water leakage, so i'm Confused

The midwife said to call again if plug or waters show themselves, but until then sit tight.

Any input appreciated, as i'm sore and getting bored of waiting, DH asleep on sofa as is working nights :(

Hello Smile

I think it is starting! I'm 38+4 and have similar low down pains and back ache myself, so I'll be watching this thread with interest! Good luck Smile

Thank you :) You too! I just wish it wasn't all quite so airy-fairy with regards to knowing what's going on! Fingers crossed we'll both be holding our little smelly lovlies soon!

It sounds as though things are starting. Unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it, things aren't like in the movies and this can go on for a couple of days.

In the meantime do you have taxi numbers/ neighbours on hand/ husbands mobile charged?

Are your bags packed (if you're going to a birthing unit/ hospital for the birth)?

Have you got your list of phone numbers for people to contact once you've got good news to share?

Have you set to record all your favourite programmes?

Oooh, sounds promising, if the pains stay regular.

Try and rest, you're gonna need energy!

Or maybe a distraction to help pass the time? Go on, get those Christmas cards started!

Good Luck!
