Not sick with any and had a girl and 2 boys, 34 weeks tomorrow with another girl and wasn't sick this time either. There isn't a connection scientifically.

Nah!!! Have had 3 girls so far, no sickness AT ALL first 2, sick as a dog for first 12-14 weeks with third, did actually think it may be a boy but she was a lovely girl!
Am pregnant again, bit sicky feeling but not actually sick, probably another girl!!!

I have four DC three girls and a boy (he was last)

I was only ever sick once or twice but would retch a lot and went off food completely and smells would turn my stomach.

I felt the EXACT same with all four.

I was sick both times but it was worse with the second one both are boys so I can't give a comparison.

1 pregnancy, 1 boy, nausea all the time but not much actual sick.

I've had morning sickness from week 5 to week 15. Was pretty nasty too. I'm expecting a girl.

YunoYurbubson Wed 10-Nov-10 17:27:39

I had 2 very similar pregnancies. Same shaped bump both times and lots and LOTS of nausia and vomiting right into my 5th month.

I have 1 girl and 1 boy.

badly sick in both pregnancies - with girls ;-)

JuneBugJr Wed 10-Nov-10 17:49:55

Had hyperemesis in first pregnancy, when I was in hospital being treated, I had a lovely doctor and midwives. They both said that a higher proportion of women they see in with HG have girls or twins. The worst case I know of sickness though had a boy.

I've had HG again this time, but have a feeling it's a little boy. I'll find out in a few weeks if I just happen to carry the same.

Sorry, I did have a dd.

WowOoo Wed 10-Nov-10 17:51:23

No sickess - two boys.

My mum had no sickness - two girls and a boy.

Horrible sickness with DS, none at all with DD....

TheNextMrsDepp Wed 10-Nov-10 17:56:36

DS1 - Medium sickness, but mainly in the afternoon
DD1 - Nothing at all.
DD2 - Sick as a dog!

Sorry, no correlation with sex whatsoever.

But interestingly enough it did correlate very well with how "demanding" they were as babies. Spooky.

I thought you were supposed to be sicker with a girl?

I had quite severe ms both times, for a very long time, and had a girl then a boy.

lilly13 Wed 10-Nov-10 18:11:08

I don't think there is any correlation between sickness and baby's sex.

I had no sickness whatsoever. I am having a boy.

My friend was extremely sick with DD1 and had no sickness at all with DD2.

lollyheart Wed 10-Nov-10 18:25:08

No sickness for me either.

1 girl, 2 boys

Karoleann Wed 10-Nov-10 18:25:56

I was much worse this time around, (its a girl this time) not as bad as previous two - both boys

ANTagony Wed 10-Nov-10 18:27:15

No sickness for first two, quessy at smells etc but not serious morning sickness.

Lots of sickness this time (now 29 weeks) sonographer hinted at a girl.

ANTagony Wed 10-Nov-10 18:27:45

Sorry should have said first two were boys and no sickness.

BalloonSlayer Wed 10-Nov-10 18:33:55

I thought you were supposed to be sicker with a girl too.

I was broadly speaking nauseous to the same degree with all three of mine (2 boys and one girl). Never actually sick but felt close to it some times. And I always felt sick in the afternoons and evenings, never the mornings, every time.

I could say that I felt less sick with DD, but I put that down to not being at work - which I was when expecting the boys - which meant I could eat anything I wanted when I wanted it, which helped to stave off the sicky feeling.
