Nausea in second pregnancy not first.

Hi, just need to have a moan really.

I am nearly 7 weeks pregnant and really struggling with constant nausea. Nothing helps, the only thing that eases it is eating but then about 10 mins later I feel awful again.
I have tried everything that has been recommended to me, ginger biscuits, warm water, fruit tea, fizzy drinks, fruit sweets and nothing makes any difference.
I had hardly any sickness with DD so wondering if this little bean might be a baby boy?
I've also been having really strange dreams, they usually involve me giving birth to a baby and forgetting to tell Dp??? Confused

I am not working at the moment so can rest after dropping DD off at school but am due to go back to work in 2 weeks and am really worried how I will cope.

I am hoping this doesn't last long but have heard stories about feeling like this all the way through Sad

Sorry for droning on, just feeling really bad and I think Dp is getting fed up of listening to me moan to him about it.

This is only my first pregnancy and I had morning sickness until 16 weeks... I'm expecting a girl. My SIL also had MS and she had a boy... Not sure there is much in the sickness and gender link.... Just think every PG is different. Most MS clears up by 12 weeks but can sometimes hang about for a while longer if you're unlucky. Hope you feel better soon

Poor you.
I'm having morning sickness for the first time in my 3rd pg (previously had a boy and a girl, was fine both times).
MW said it's not unusual for sickness to get worse with each pregnancy, so perhaps it's just because it's your second.

Let's hope it passes soon.

I hope the sickness doesn't last too much longer,
I'm 16 weeks and still having sickness everyday also didn't have any in 1st pregnanct with dd. Though I don't believe it is related to gender every pregnancy is different.

Thanks for your replies. I still feel terrible, have told a few people the news now so don't have to hide the fact I feel awful.
Clarebear we found out the sex with DD but not sure if we will this time so might have to wait until May to test the theory. :-)
Not sure about the sickness & gender link either. I had such an easy pregnancy with DD.
Sad that you are still suffering at 15/16 weeks, I am only 7 so might have to get used to it. Hope you feel better soon.

What did you end up having? I’m in the same boat now!
