sharp shootong pains Labour?

My due date is 5/9/10, i have had 2 children but both different I was started off with my first and the second was the tightning of the stomach, I had a mc at 16 week and my stomach was tightning then but i also had sharp shooting pains down below like i have now? my waters eventually went with mc but im not sure if i should be comparing or not? i just want little one here so hoping every twinge is labour, anyone else have sharp shooting pains down below who could maybe put my mind at rest?

Hi, am 37+1 and I get shooting pains all the time down below.

The midwife has told me that this is because baby has started to engage and his head is bouncing on my cervix and my cervix is softening.

So being as you are a bit further along than me it could me something is starting to happen. If your worried then just give your mw a call or pop down and get checked out.x
