Do you talk to your bump?

I am 23weeks and I chat to my DS quite a lot as if we are having a conversation (his responses are his little kicks)!

Anyone else chat to their bumps?

I talk to my bump (known as wriggler) and try to play music and sing-a-long everyday.....I'm also a big bump rubber. Wriggler seems to approve, it can't do any harm.

i do but need to fight for bump time with my toddler who lays her head on it and sings the ABC song at the top of her voice.

If he doesn't pop out singing the alphabet I will be very surprised

Going against the grain here but I don't. I did meet a friend for lunch on Friday though who bent down and started shouting, "ickle little bumpy-boo," type stuff at it

My bump is called wriggler too, but then given the major activity going on inside it's not surprising! I don't really talk to my bump apart from a bit in my head. DP has read some stories to us at night. (33 weeks.)

No, I am far too busy talking to my DS (3 years) all day long - I want a bit of peace and quiet when he's gone to bed!! DH and DS sometimes yell "it's your daddy and brother!" at the poor little thing though

I did, I used to tell her to stop kicking me. I found it really disturbing the day she did I was terrified and kept apologising to her on the way to the hospital. Monitored and all was well, I just hadn't had anything to eat.

In my head sometimes, and every now and then the odd comment. I know I should do more, but I still find it weird at 37 wks! My husband talks to her though. Every now and then I do find myself asking her to stop doing something that hurts though.

I do, every day (at home in the evening and sometimes if there are kicks in the toilet at work!). I tell her that she's lovely & we are looking forward to meeting her, and I tell her when it's me and when it's daddy's hand on the bump, etc. so she gets used to our voices. DH talks to her, too : )
