DS1 has just turned 9 and is still wet every single night. We tried an alarm (through the bed wetting clinic) a year or so ago and that didn't work. and after many delays with the Drs losing the letter from the clinic we've finally got the desmopressin melts. He's been having them for 2 weeks now and is still wet every night.
Is this normal? Does it usually take so long to "kick in".......or does it just not work for some people. I'm used to the sheet washing now, but I think he's starting to get upset about it now, he'll have his YR4 residentail at the end of this school year and we got a letter home about it yesterday and I could see the look on his face - he's worried he's still going to be wet by then.
