Potty training

Is it better to wait until dc tell you they are doing a wee/need a wee?

HV told me this and it makes sense. I'm just worried about leaving potty training too late as a few of my dd's friends are potty trained already. She's 2.5.

My DD never told us when she was seeing, but she took to potty training no problem.

Thanks @Spam88 can I ask how old your dd was and how long it took for her to grasp it?

She was 2 and 9 months, probably about a week? Don't think she had any accidents from day 3 or 4 though. Then a couple of weeks later we moved her to the toilet which she took to straight away.

Thanks, sounds like she took to it really quickly. Hoping it'll be the same here!
