Hello, I have began to toilet train my almost 2.5 year old girl. She's managed very well and had got to the stage of me not needing to remind her at all, she would consistently come to me every 1.5/2 hours and ask. She did that for almost 10 days.
However, the last 3/4 days she has gone back to having wee accidents up to 5/6 times a day, like when we first started. She's showing no interest in asking for the toilet. I'm baffled.
If we ask her if she needs, she says no, and then 5 minutes later there's a wet patch. It's almost like us asking her has reminded her and then she realised she actually does need, but rather than ask (which she would previously have done) she just wets.
If we try to just take her anyway. She kicks and screams and goes rigid and we can't get her to sit on the toilet. Might be worth mentioning it's been very warm the last few days so she might have been having more to drink? She's usually ok with asking to go for poops.
I have just been cleaning her up, matter of
fact, and asking her that she must tell me if she needs, she says "ok Mummy" and then wets again next time.
Any advice?
