DS has just turned 3 and was out of nappies last summer. He’s not all that reliable, probably wets himself 1- 2 days a week (but can be multiple times on those days). He definitely benefits from prompting as he’s easily distracted. I can live with all of this but am getting increasingly frustrated that he can be hugely resistant to going to the toilet at our suggestion, screaming and running away. We only tend to insist when it’s been ages, he’s already wet himself or is showing signs he needs to go, or before a meal to combine it with washing his hands.
Any suggestions?
