Hi,
Just after some help as I’m not sure whether it would be best to stop for a few months or persevere.
DD has been potty training for about a week. She is doing well, can poo/ wee on potty and will sometimes initiate but mostly needs prompting.
We’ve had accidents as she’ll hold it, not go and then have a big wee while playing. Maybe one or two accidents a day.
Trips out may be tricky but it’s not like we can go anywhere for a few months so not too worried about that just yet. As DH has another couple of months on furlough.
I feel like we’ve made real progress but I do worry she’s doing too much too soon.
She did seem ready, and generally as she was quite early with other milestones it seemed like a good idea to try it.
Can I ask how long it took you to potty train your younger child? Is it just a case of her being a bit younger she may need more time? Any tips? Doing the oh crap method, I’m going to re-read it but wanted some real life tips!
Thanks!
