My daughter is 3y 5m and we are having a third attempt at potty training starting today. The first attempt 8 months ago she was crying and refusing to eat, drink or poo after three days so we stopped. The second attempt we couldn't even begin as she was crying so much the night before-even though we had tried to prepare her and she seemed happy to start. That was several months ago.
I have offered her with stickers and chocolate buttons this morning just to even sit on potty and gifts for collecting plastic stars when she does a wee or poo. She had a drink at breakfast and lunch but is otherwise not drinking- I offered juices, milkshakes etc! She keeps asking for her nappies and we distract her. She has just had a nappy put on her for her lunchtime nap and still no wee or poo , no accidents nothing. Any advice please? I don't want to give up yet again or I fear she will get used to us aborting potty training!
