Hi.
I'm looking for some advice from those who have succeeded in potty training their LO.
My DD is 2 years and 9 months old. We have attempted to train her to use the potty and toilet since last summer.
We have routines of going to the toilet in the morning, before meals and before bedtime. Rewarding her with stars for a chart and watching for signs that she is about to need to go. We have tried training pull ups and removed all of that and put her in proper pants in the hope that as it's less comfortable to wet yourself in those she'll prefer to use the toilet. We never stress at any accidents or wet clothes. Congratulate her etc at any signs of near or actual success however, our DD still doesn't voluntarily take herself to the toilet and unless prompted, 90% of the time seems to rather do everything in her pants. My worries are...what are we doing wrong? What could we do better? Any advice or guidance would be appreciated. Many thanks x
