My 3yo Dd knows when she needs the toilet but she's holding it in and refusing to use the potty or toilet, for both wees and poo. Admittedly we've not had much of a plan with trying to potty train, just keep asking her if she wants to use the potty but she has used it occasionally. My worry is that she holds it in for hours, getting upset probably because it hurts , and then when we put a nappy on, fills it straight away.
She goes to nursery 3 days a week and is in nappies but will be going into pre school class next month where they all use the toilet so I'm getting worried. Again, she's occasionally used the toilet at nursery.
Is she not ready? Or do i need a proper plan?!!
