Struggling to get started

Hi everyone, hope I've posted in the right place.

I'm having trouble getting started with potty training DS (3 next month) after trying for a few months. We've tried having a small portable potty, using the big toilet and having a ladder that he can climb on to the big toilet.

He says he doesn't like nappies but won't try to go to the toilet, so I'm not really sure what to do next! Does anybody have any advice? Thank you!
