My LG will be 5 in November and still wears a night time nappy (i know it's bad so no criticism) and it's wet in the morning. Any tips to get rid of them?

I would love to know too my nearly 5 year old is still wet at night while her younger sister (3) has been dry and out of nappies for nearly a year.

It's not bad - just part of the normal range and nothing you can do until the necessary hormone starts being produced. Trust me - been there got 5 similar T shirts. It all depends on children though heredity may also play a part, so if you or DH were wet at night later than some, your children will have a higher chance of the same thing. HTH to reassure you that neither your children nor you are to blame or bad. I just feel so very sorry for generations of children who were humiliated, abused and physically punished for something they could not help at all.

hi, sadly night trainin is different to day training its something that cant be taught its all about a chemical that is released. the only tips i have is make sure they drink lots in the day and no blackcurrent or dark coloured drinks. 4yr old dd is still in night nappies and she fills them every night its something that cant be helped so you may as well make sure they have a good night sleep by not waking up wet.
