Specifically a stubborn 3 yr old who sometimes sits on the potty and sometimes has a fit?

Yes - 3 years and 3 months. We tried when he was 3, but a total disaster. Gave up. Trying again and he just always wees through his clothes. Am on verge of giving up despite being hugely embarrassed he is still in nappies...

Going to be starting once we get back from holiday. 3 year old who knows what the potty/toilet is for and knows when he needs the toilet. Just won't use either. Incredibly stubborn..... can't wait.

We are on day 4 now and tbh he has now got it. I was having a day 2 panic when i posted tjis because he didn't want to poo on the potty. Over the next two days he's now pooed 3 times. I think he just found the sitting sensation strange.

Boyo is pretty much there. No accidents yesterday and one in the park today but he's taking himself to the potty without prompting. I think now it's just a case of getting him to sit and try for a wee before we go out. So far he's stubbornly refusing to try. We'll see how he does at the childminder's tomorrow.

Me!
My 3.6yo DD is on attempt number 13765. So stubborn! I'm trying this time leaving the potty in sight but relaxing a bit letting her do it. She knows what to do and when but she just won't!

Day one and had 2 accidents in pants and only briefly sits on potty, won't entertain toilet at all! Argh!
