My 2 year old (nearly three) is now very interested in telling me when she needs the toilet. I am thinking that now would be a good time to start training but I can't stand mess!!!!!

She uses pampers size 6 and these really are not cutting it anymore.

I am looking for the best training pants or reusables for a child that would fit in 3 year old clothes for no leaks. What do you think would help.

What methods have you used?

Thank you :)

I think children need the mess to understand when they are weeing.

I got some packs of the towelling inside and waterproof layer in the middle but proper pants from Amazon fairly cheaply when I started training DD2. www.amazon.co.uk/Ateid-Toddlers-Reusable-Training-Cotton/dp/B06XFVB29G/ref=sr_1_6?psc=1&keywords=toilet%2Btraining%2Bpants&th=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1530616886&sr=8-6&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21 are similar to the ones I had - kept the chaotic mess down a bit, won't contain a mega wee but will contain a smaller dribble.
