my dd just turned 2 in October. I dont know when to start potty training. Her older sister was a nightmare to train and still at 4.5 won't poo in the toilet and I'm seeking help for her but its put me off and I'm scared her 2 year old sister.will be the same. Is it best to just one day put her in underwear or run around with nothing on or go with pull ups? I'm not sure she would care about a reward chart she would just want all the sticker at once. Does it work if I just do it slowly such as every night after bath sit her on the potty for 5 minutes and then build it up?

I was recommended the Oh Crap book which suggests potty training between 20 and 30 months. I always recommended it now because it made so much sense so it might be worth a read?

Following with interest. PFB is 2.4 and whilst he knows what his potty is for, knows when he's wet/dirty and know what the toilet is for, will not use either.....

Gemma Definitely read the Oh Crap book. Your DS is miles ahead of where my DD was when we started!
