Potty training

Taking a step back

My (just) 3 yr old son was successfully using the potty whilst at home but was refusing to use the toilet at home or out and about and getting quite distressed about going in the toilets out at places at all as he's terrified of the sound of hand driers. However accidents were still at a minimum when out and about and we were just using a portable potty.

He's just started at school nursery and has taken a massive step back where he has multiple accidents whilst there and has started not telling us at home. I don't know what to do as he was doing so well. He's been there about 3 weeks now and they said they try him on the toilet. I'm just not sure how to sort this out.

Advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Folllowing. DS took a big step back recently when we went on holiday and now we're practically starting all over again. Advice for OP would be shamelessly stolen!
