Potty training

Is it worth having a go?

Dd2 is almost 2. We've had the potty out for a few months just for her to get used to it. She's happy to sit on it and you can see that she's trying to wee when she sits down but not many actual wees. Today she was in the bath and had a lot of wind, kept asking if she needed a poo, she said no. Suddenly she said poo and pointed at the toilet, I lifted her out and sat her down and she did a poo! So do you think its worth giving potty training a proper go or am I better off just carrying on as I am for now?

If she can tell you and is interested in using it then why not.
Give it a week, you'll soon know if she is ready

I'm wondering the same too, my dd is 2 next week, will wear no nappy at home and do lots of wee's in the potty, however if I put a nappy on her she'll wee in that too, I still think I should wait as she understands everything but her speech is not that great so wonder if she'll be able to get asking for a wee iyswim.
She's starting pre school 2x a week next week so may ask what they say.
With dd1 she was around 2.8 when I started potty training and it took ages Shock

It might be a fluke but worth keeping potty out and reminding regularly for a few days to see how goes.
