I've got a 2 week window to potty train DS (very nearly 3yo). If we could crack it now it'd be perfect timing, but for various reasons it has to be 'all or nothing' - if he's anything less than reliably dry in this fortnight we'd have to go back to nappies and try again in a few months.
He likes to sit on the toilet (we usually do it once a day before his bath), will try to wee and poo and quite often does.
However the rest of the time he shows no signs of awareness that he wants to wee/poo and usually denies all knowledge if I ask him if he is doing a poo when he quite clearly is.
Of course we could just give it a try now and see how we get on but I am worried about ending up 'nearly but not quite' after the fortnight or find DS reluctant to go back into nappies.
WWYD - try now or hold on until he is showing more signs?
