Dd is 2, 3 in October. She's still in nappies. She knows what the toilet is and knows what it is for, she will sit quite happily on the toilet and potty but won't do anything on it. She doesn't show any signs of going for a wee or poo when she has a nappy on and only occasionally tells us when she wants her nappy changed or has done a poo.
I don't want to make toilet training any more difficult than necessary and hear wonderful stories of children just deciding they want to use the toilet and that's that.
Will that happen with dd or should we be persevering with putting her on the toilet/potty and not putting nappies on?
She starts nursery 2 days a week in September and whilst they don't expect her to be toilet trained, I feel it would be nice if she was.
