Potty training

Should I buy a potty now?

DD is only 15 months so not ready for potty training yet, but she has started telling me (most of the time) when she has pood, if she wees when nappy free she watches it come out then says uh-oh, and she watches curiously when me or dh use the loo, so I want to build a good groundwork for when we do start. Is it a good idea to buy a potty to have round the house/play with etc so she is not scared of it when she is ready to train?

yes it's a very good idea to have a potty about for her to play with, you could also sit her on it at bath time.
It sounds like you have the right idea.

Mine trained around that age. However I like those little toilet seats that go on main toilet as then they get used to toilet straight away and plus more hygenic and easier for you as then everything can be flushed away and not needing tipping out and cleaning
