DD accidents when she has ANYTHING on lower half...HELP

My DD is 3 in April.

We started potty training and it went well. Whenever she has nothing on her lower half she will get herself to the potty, do her thing then come and tell me. Or she will tell me and we go together.

But the moment she has ANYTHING on her bottom half... Knickers, pull ups, trousers... She just won't tell me and won't go herself. She is guaranteed to wee/poo in whatever she is wearing. It's so frustrating!

How do I get her to tell me about needing the loo when she has pants/knickers/pull ups on? She can't go around naked all the time its just not socially acceptable! :) Help please!

Sorry, no advice here but ds2 is the same age and is doing exactly the same thing so I'm going to skulk about here to see what advice you get.

So frustrating. He was doing so well and very excited about his Postman Pat pants - and then went through 3 pairs of pants in an hour. He doesn't pee with anything like that frequency bare bottomed!

Mine did exactly that - started training at 2.9ish, and she was very quickly reliable in no knickers. But would always poo in them if wearing any.
Until she gradually stopped (lots of praise if she did get to the loo etc). No pants poo since about 3.2 yo.
I can't take any credit or give tips, she just gradually stopped.
Sorry not to have a secret technique!
