Would love some company.

DD is 2.3yo. Going cold turkey - no pull ups and straight onto the loo.

We've been going for 15 minutes so far Smile

I keep thinking about it but talking myself out of it

Dd, 20 months, regularly communicates needing a poo but nothing for a wee

I nearly talked myself out of it this morning! It's such a rubbish time of year for it too.

Nursery have advised taking her to the toilet every 15 minutes but she's already bored with it Confused

Does she communicate need for a wee/poo?

Poo yes. Wee it's so hard to tell while she's in a nappy. She says she needs a wee regularly but not sure it's always reliable iyswim. We will find out today!

When are you thinking of starting?

Well so far so mixed...

Two misses first (wee) and now three successes (also wee). A certain amount of bribery has been involved....

We've started here with 25 month old son. Poos seem sorted but not wees. He yells "potty, potty, potty" which gives me 1second before he wees! Unfortunately, I do not have cat-like reflexes so there have been quite a few puddles. Trying to sit him on the potty regularly doesn't work as he just refuses but he will go on the potty of his own accord to poo.

we started yesterday, but it's not going so well Sad
DS (26 mo) will only sit on the potty before his bath in the evening... any other time is a bit of struggle as he doesn't want to stop play time to sit on the potty !!

Also, he isn't telling me when he has done a wee or a poo... I just try and get him to sit on the potty every 20 mins...

Did we start too early !?!
