We have a 2.6 yr old, we have been potty training for about two months - it has been going really well with weeing in the potty. He seems more than capable of saying when he needs to go, and waiting until he gets to the potty. But in the last week or so he seems to have lost interest, he seems happy to wet himself, actually seems to find it funny, and doesn't seem bothered about having wet trousers. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice welcome...

Watching this with interest and hoping someone can help us..my 2.9yr old DS doing exactly the same! It's so frustrating. I'm beginning to question whether he really is ready and have been very tempted to put him in pull-ups, but I just can't bring myself to give up after he was doing so well. He even got out of bed this morning went into the bathroom to get his step stool and went back to poo on the floor of his bedroom after taking his nappy off! So frustrating!

Same for me here. DD is 2.8, she was asking to go to the toilet, s weeing in the loo and I thought she had it. But for the last week, she has refused to sit on the loo or the potty, and just weed or pood in her clothes. Very odd. I am persevering but I don't know where she's got this aversion to the loo from.

Also, every time we go on the train (we commute for an hour each way every day), I put her in pull-ups and she just goes then. Wah!
