I used a special mat on top of his sheet so I'd he had an accident I didn't need to change all of the sheets. I also left them all in nappies for bedtime for ages because I thought the cost if one cheap nappy better than being woken, changing sheets, washing etc.

I only dropped the nappy after they would ask each night to go without and they had gone a week with a dry naps in the morning. I did find they would sometimes be lazy and be dry all night but use the nappy when they woke up!

My daughter is 25 months, brilliant at toilet during day for just over a month now. Some nights bone dry and others very wet, I'm afraid to try too early at night, but afraid to leave it too long that she thinks its ok to go overnight in her pants as she tells me in the morning "I've peed in my pants mummy" but not upset about it. Don't know what to do, hoping another month of nappies overnight and hope she starts to be dry herself.
