Potty training

Potty trained at nursery but totally refuses at home!

Nursery have been doing a great job with dd (2.6) - she goes 3 days a week, is dry all day, goes to the toilet regularly. When I pick her up I take her to the toilet again, she does nothing. Then we leave and within 20 mins she wees everywhere! At home, she will sit on the potty/toilet but not do anything - then does it in her pants - basically behaves as if she has a nappy on. Bribing, reminding, etc. have no effect and I don't want to make a massive issue out of it.

So I've reverted to pull-ups when not in nursery because I have so much to do, it's impossible with constantly cleaning up wee/poo as well. But is this bad? Has anyone else had this and did your DC just one day decide to use the toilet at home too?

With DS, I just kept in in pull-ups until he'd learned to use the toilet and was dry. So I haven't experienced the cold-turkey type method.

Just found this thread because I am having the exact same issue with my 2.7 year old. For the 4 days she is at nursery she is pretty much 'dry' but every time I put her in knickers at home she just has accidents. She does ask to go to the loo but does nothing when on it. It's so frustrating because she seems ready - is extremely independent and really wants to do it. I don't know whether the pull-ups she is in at home are confusing her. Just wondered whether you have resolved this issue? And if so, how?
