Crafty 2yo and bedtime!

So dd2 is doing really really well with being out if nappies :o

Except she's now realised that needing a pooh gives her a great excuse to still be sat up at almost 10pm on the potty.

She's got us over a bloody barrel I tell you!! And she knows it!!!

So do I send her to bed anyway as I feel she is sitting on the potty for the sake of it, and doesn't really need a pooh?? Or do I wait it out with her until she produces??

Well, if no poo after 5 mins it's back to bed, if she hasn't done it within that time she doesn't really need one.

Make it boring!

DS is the same but soon claims to be "finished" and is back in bed when we take the potty into his darkened room, sit him on it and then leave the room saying "let me know when you are finished and I'll get you back into bed"
