DD has just embarked on using tbe potty, nit all the time so just going at her pace. She wees and poos with no issues, either in the potty or on the loo.

Being new to this, how do others clean out the potty each time? I'm sure I'm making a right faff out of it, using lots of loo roll and wipes. She did a particularly sticky poo yesterday that i made a eight palaver cleaning. How so you clean yours?

I used to run some water into the potty after emptying, and swill it around, you can do this a few times to loosen any deposits and then wipe out with loo paper. Only used anti-bac spray if DS was poorly.

A friend of mine used to put a sheet of loo paper in the bottom of the potty before it was used, which helped remove the sticky deposits, as it just emptied out easily.
