DS has been dry at night and without a nappy for the past 2 months, however I still put a disposable bed mat on the bed...just in case!
The bedmats don't last long as they start to break up, plus they rustle all night.
I still want to keep a protector on the bed so am looking for something absorbant, non-disposable and non-rustling!
Any recommendations? Many thanks.

I use waterproof sheets, you can get them in Asda and Tescos, dead cheap in their basics range. I found the disposable ones a real pain as they kept slip slidin' away.

Hi,
My DS is always hot in bed and I found the standard waterproof sheets made him really sweaty - particularly in the summer. I now use Hippychick flat sheet protector, the cot size one is plenty big enough to put in the pertinent area on a junior bed or a single bed. It feels like a brushed cotton sheet but apparently has a waterproof core - I can certainly vouch for its effectiveness, it can soak up huge amount as my DS wees like a racehorse and leaks out of his nappy most nights! Another plus point is it can be tumble dried! It is also very easy to pack and take on holiday/to Grandmas for sleepovers so their bed stays dry too!
